Admissions

Registration process

We accept children from the term they turn 2 years old. Our intakes are at the beginning of each term. There may be occasional places at other times, but all offers of places are subject to availability.

If you are considering applying for a place at The Nursery, please click on the Registration Form link below and submit.  We will keep your application on file and contact you before the half term holiday of the term before your child’s proposed entry (in May for September intake; in October for January intake and in February for April intake).

If we can offer your child a place, a letter will be sent to you with a formal offer confirming your child’s start date and offering all the necessary information you will need prior to your child starting Nursery life. We ask for a deposit of £500 to secure your child’s place with us. This amount is refundable against your child’s final term’s fees when a term’s notice is given for departing Nursery. At this point you will be asked to complete our Child Information Record (see link below).

(NB: This form is a legal requirement, we regret that we are unable to accept any child without this completed form.)

If you have been offered a place at the nursery but no longer wish to take it, please notify the Nursery Office as soon as possible.

SETTLING in & our fees

Settling in

At The Barnes Village Nursery, we work closely with parents to ensure that children settle happily at nursery and feel secure that home and nursery are working together.

As part of the settling process at the Barnes Village Nursery we offer a ‘stay and play’ session where you can stay with your child to get to know the nursery staff, environment and other children. You can meet your child’s Group Leader and discuss your child’s needs or any other concerns you may have.

We understand that starting nursery can be very daunting for both you and your child. We are happy to help and guide you in any way we can. We have an open-door policy; you are welcome to come and spend time at the nursery at any point.

Our Fees
